Pastors or bishops are not only allowed to marry but encouraged to do so.

See 1 Timothy 3:2, 12 and Titus 1:6. They are forbidden to have more than one wife. They are allowed to marry. Even Peter and most of the apostles had wives who accompanied them on their journeys.

1 Corinthians 9:5 Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?            {Cephas = Peter}

It is a mark of FALSE religion to forbid marriage:

1 Timothy 4:1-3  Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2  speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3  forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
