What Jesus do during his childhood? Are there any details?

Thanks for your question. Feel free to submit follow-up questions on this topic.

Question	What the New Testament tells us
Where did he grow up?	Nazareth in Galilee (Matthew 2:23; Luke 2:39–40).
Was he educated in Scripture?	His understanding of Scripture is evident later, but the New Testament does not describe his childhood schooling.
Did he learn a trade?	Mark 6:3 identifies Jesus as a carpenter or craftsman. We are not told when he learned the trade or the precise nature of his training.
Did he have brothers and sisters?	Yes, they are mentioned in Matthew 13:55–56 and Mark 6:3.
Was he tempted as a child?	The New Testament gives no specific account of childhood temptations. Hebrews 4:15 describes his temptations generally, without detailing his childhood.
What happened between ages twelve and about thirty?	The Gospels provide no continuous account of this period. Luke 3:23 says Jesus was about thirty when he began his public ministry.

It is worth emphasizing that the silence of Scripture does not mean that nothing significant happened during those years. Jesus would have continued to grow, work and live within his community. We simply are not told the details.

I hope this helps!
