A visitor writes,

"Explain 1 John 5:7. About trinity"

1 John 5:7  For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 9… for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.
In context, the witness that God has testified of his Son consists of three things which have their origin in heaven.
1.    The Father (speaking from heaven):
Matthew 3:17  And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
2.    The word – the scriptures given by inspiration of God.
Luke 24:25  Then He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!... 27  And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
3.    The Holy Spirit – given from heaven to Christ at his baptism which enabled him to work miracles.
Matthew 3:16  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.:
John 14:10  "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
Acts 2:22  "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—
There is no ‘trinity’ in scripture.
There is ONE GOD the Creator and Sustainer of all life.
Mark 12:32  So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.
The Holy Spirit is the POWER of God, not a person.
Jesus is the SON OF GOD who existed only in the planned purpose of God before being conceived by the action of the Holy Spirit (the power of God) in the womb of Mary.
Luke 1:35  And the angel (Gabriel) answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Mary was a descendant of King David.
Jesus was the son promised to David who would establish David’s throne forever.
Jesus was born mortal and was killed by the Romans at the instigation of the Jews.
Jesus was not God. God cannot die.
Jesus was raised from the dead by God (he could not raise himself).
Jesus was given immortality at his resurrection, thus becoming the firstfruit.
1 Corinthians 15:20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
The doctrine of the ‘Trinity’ is ‘incomprehensible’ because it makes no sense.
It is the ‘Church’s’ version of the ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’.
Reminds me of Lewis Carroll’s Queen in Alice in Wonderland:
“Alice laughed. 'There's no use trying,' she said. 'One can't believe impossible things.'
“I daresay you haven't had much practice,' said the Queen. 'When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
I hope this helps,
God bless.
