A visitor writes,

"I need to confess, yes I am a sinner, I am addicted to porn, I have lust, and I committed adultery even just for the look. Now I need to change, I need to overcome this and I need to win this battle. What are the need to do so that I can say that the LORD help me to overcome."

When the apostle Peter convicted the Jews of their sinful behaviour, they asked him what they must do– that is – What does God require of them?

Acts 2:22  "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23  "Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24  "whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it… 32  "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33  "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. 34  "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, 35  Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."’ 36  "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

The answer was:
1.    To repent – change the way they live
2.    To be baptised by immersion in water for the remission of their past sins.
3.    To continue in the Apostles’ doctrine i.e. The Commandments of Jesus Christ.
4.    To meet regularly with fellow believers to share bread and wine as commanded by Jesus.
5.    To pray frequently

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins… 40  And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." 41  Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

Following baptism:

Acts 2:42… they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

This was consistent with Jesus’ instruction to the apostles:

Mark 16:15  And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

The Gospel preached by Jesus and his apostles was the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
This refers to the Kingdom which will be established on the Earth when  Jesus returns.
This will be the restored Kingdom of David with its capital in Jerusalem which will bear rule over all the earth.
The faithful will be raised from the dead to eternal life in the kingdom of God.

Jesus gives a parable concerning obedience to his commandments:

Luke 6:46  "But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say? 47  "Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48  "He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. 49  "But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."
