A visitor writes,

"Do we worship Jesus Christ o only God?"

Jesus is the mediator between man and God.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

We petition God through Jesus Christ.

John 15:16  "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
John 16:23 "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.
John 16:24 "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
John 16:26 "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;

The wise men worshipped Jesus as a baby because they understood that he was the promised King of Israel.

Matthew 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

There are several instances recorded in the New Testament where people worshipped Jesus because of the power he possessed.

Matthew 8:2  And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
Matthew 9:18 While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live."
Matthew 14:33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."
Matthew 15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
Matthew 28:17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
Mark 5:6  When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.
Luke 24:52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
John 9:38 Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him.

Now that Jesus has been raised to the divine nature the angels are called upon to worship him.

Hebrews 1:6  But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."
1 Peter 3:22  who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Jesus is worthy of worship because we owe him our lives.

But Jesus is not God, and the distinction must be preserved.

John 14:28  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Jesus will always be subject to his Father.

1 Corinthians 15:28  Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Whilst we await Christ’s return, the instruction is to worship God, not Jesus.

1 Corinthians 14:25  And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
Philippians 3:3  For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,
Revelation 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
Revelation 22:9  Then he said to me, "See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."
