How do I qualify for resurrection after I die?

The Lord Jesus Christ preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Mark 1:14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

After his resurrection Jesus gave his disciples a commission:

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Philip preached the gospel of "the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ". Those who believed were baptised.

  • Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Ananias told Saul (Paul) to be baptised to wash away his past sins.

  • Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

From this we conclude:

  • We must understand and believe the Gospel of the kingdom of God preached by Jesus and his disciples.
  • We must be baptised by immersion in water for the remission of past sins.

After baptism we must live a new life, by the commandments of Jesus.

  • John 15:13,14 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
  • Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

The new life requires us to meet regularly with fellow believers to share bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice.

  • 1 Corinthians 11:23-28 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. 27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

If we do these things we will be raised from the dead when Jesus returns to set up the Kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

I hope this helps.

God bless,
