Proverbs 16:3 NKJV Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.
Proverbs 16:3 NRSV Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3 NIV Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
It teaches us to involve God in our plans by means of prayer.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Jesus says:
Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8  "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Paul writes to the Philippians:
Philippians 4:6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
And to the Colossians:
Colossians 3:17  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
