Why would God give me a disability that makes it so difficult to know and obey him?
It is a mistake to blame God for our disabilities. The world is full of people without recognised disabilities who have no time for God or his purpose. Can we blame God for them also?
I don’t understand what you mean by ‘abstract nature of religious belief’. I assume that you can understand cause and effect. You can understand the necessity of looking both ways before you cross the road. You understand that we are born, live and die. You can read and ask questions.
If you want to know why we die, you can read Genesis and understand that we die because we disobey God. Disobeying God is called sin. This is not abstract.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He lived a life without sin. He gave it in sacrifice so that those who believe and obey the Gospel that he preached can have their sins forgiven and be raised from the dead to eternal life in the kingdom of God.
Jesus was the first to be raised from the dead to eternal life. None of this can be termed ‘abstract’. These are facts.
If you want assistance in understanding the facts, please ask.
Blaming God serves no purpose.
I hope this helps.
God bless,
Glenn
