Will all of the questions that Christians have on Earth be answered?
God caused the scriptures to be written in order to make us ‘wise unto salvation’.
2 Timothy 3:15-17-17 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The scriptures tell us that the kingdom of heaven, otherwise known as the kingdom of God, will be the restored kingdom of David upon the earth.
Gabriel told Mary:
Luke 1:32 He (Jesus) will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.
God promised Abraham an eternal inheritance upon the earth and a ‘seed’ in whom all peoples of the earth would be blessed.
Genesis 13:14,15 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: "Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.
Genesis 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."
Paul explains that this promised seed of Abraham is Christ:
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.
It is this promise to Abraham of an eternal inheritance on the earth, which requires resurrection from the dead, which forms the basis of the Gospel.
Galatians 3: 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The kingdom of heaven is not in heaven – it will be upon the earth. God made the earth to be inhabited.
Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.
God’s purpose is to fill the earth with his glory.
Numbers 14:21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD—
His glory will be in the form of faithful men and women raised from the dead and given the divine nature.
2 Peter 1:4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
They become equal to the angels:
Luke 20:35,36 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Paul explains what is to happen:
1 Corinthians 15:20-28 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign (a 1000-year reign) till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
God will live in and with his people on the earth forever. When God is ‘all in all’ and lives in and with his people we will see and know a great deal more than has hitherto been revealed.
I hope you find this helpful.
God bless,
