Genesis 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
We are not told where God took him to.
The Septuagint (Greek translation of the Old Testament) reads:
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him.
The writer to the Hebrews says:
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
We cannot tell what ‘translated’ means in practical terms.
What we can be certain of is that Enoch wasn’t taken to heaven.
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
No one other than Jesus Christ goes to heaven.
The kingdom of God to which we are invited by the gospel will be established on the earth when Jesus returns to raise the dead.
In conclusion, no one other than Jesus Christ has ever gone to heaven, alive or dead, or ever will.
I hope you find this helpful.
God bless,
