Jesus was and is a man. He is the only immortal man but he is still a man. He is called the "Last Adam" by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15. Like Adam, he is the firstborn of a new creation. (See Colossians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 6:15)
