Moses was 40 years old when he fled from the wrath of Pharaoh after killing an Egyptian slave master who was abusing an Hebrew slave. He remained in the wilderness for 40 years until God called him to deliver His people. That makes Moses about 80 years old when he led Israel out of Egypt. (see Acts 7:23-29; Exodus 7:7).
