It is not my place to give you instruction on how to live your life.  The Bible is our sole guide and source of instruction in that regard. If we believe the gospel, repent of our old way of life and are baptised into Christ for the remission of sins, then we begin a new life living by his commandments.

We are baptised into a body of believers and our first responsibility is to play our part in the one body.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We have the example of the early converts:

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

We are to avoid being ‘unequally yoked’ with unbelievers.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

We begin by fulfilling our part in the body of Christ and do good to others as God presents us with the opportunity.

Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Have patience, seek first the kingdom of God, and you will find opportunities enough.
