There is no place that says such a "linear" thing. What is said is this:
Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Our service in Christ supersedes all other considerations. Indeed our love for God and His son informs everything we do; it permeates every aspect of life.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The Greek word for "first" here is "proton" - our allegiance to God's Kingdom is not first and then we set it aside to move on to a secondary or tertiary priority. It is always there like an atomic proton. It is a fundamental particle that makes up a key part of our every thought and action.
John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
I hope you have found this helpful.
God bless,
