Thanks for your question.
Best to start at the beginning, in Genesis. I have three suggestions for you:
2. Single out a particular book for a focused study. Your daily readings will help familiarize you with the Bible as a whole but the particular book you study will give you a more in-depth appreciation for a portion of God's word. As I said before, for starters, you can't go wrong with the book of Genesis. God placed it at the beginning of the Bible for a reason! Don't get frustrated if you don't understand what you read at first and don't be afraid to ask questions; that's how you grow. Read with a notebook in hand and write down your questions as they occur to you. Feel free to use this site as a resource to find answers to your questions.
3. Sign-up for the free online Bible study course available on
https://www.thisisyourbible.com. T
his course will give you a background in the major themes of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. As with everything we offer, there is no cost to you other than your time and effort. You will also have a personal tutor to whom you may pose questions either from the course itself or those questions which come to you as you read the Bible.
I hope you have found this helpful.
God bless!
Mike
