Actually, if you read Isaiah 14:12 in context [the only place in the Bible where Lucifer is mentioned] you will see that it is descriptive of the king of Babylon and not some pagan notion of fallen angels.
Read that whole chapter and you will be quickly rid of the notion that Lucifer is a fallen angel. Likewise, Ezekiel 28 refers to the ruler of Tyre. The symbology here refers to the fact that it was Hiram, King of Tyre, who helped Solomon build the great temple in Jerusalem. The king of Tyre enjoyed a special relationship with Israel and so was deserving of a more severe punishment when he turned against God's people.
