My feeling is that sacrifice will be re-introduced in the Kingdom as part of the education of the world. As the sacrifices in the Old Testament pointed forward to the work of Christ so those in the millennium will point backward to it.
The experiences with death of those mortals living in the kingdom will be very limited. Someone dying at 100 years of age will be considered a child - see Isaiah 65:20. Sacrifice will help them understand the horror with which God views sin and the truth of the statement that "the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23.
