If you are interpreting the word "beatitude" to mean "beauty" then you are mistaken. The word "beatitude" does not mean "beauty" but rather "blessing".

Beattitude comes from the original New Testament Greek word for "Blessed" or "Blessing" which is "Makarios". In Latin, that word is "Beatus" and it is from this word that we get our English word "Beatitude."

These are the statements of "Blessing" given by the Lord. Hence the title, "Beatitude".
