What is Faith confession?

I hadn't heard that phrase before so I did some investigating. As I feared, "Faith Confession" is yet another bit of jargon coined by one of the latest in a long line of "peddlars of God's word." [2 Corinthians 2:17]. As far as I can tell, there is no real difference from this and the notion of "positive thinking". What upsets me is that these folk want to get people to make God complicit in their greed for material wealth. See Hebrews 13:5; 1 Timothy 3:3; 6:9,10,17,18; 2 Timothy 3:2; Revelation 2:9; 3:17,18;

A true confession of faith involves believing the Gospel, confessing that belief, and being baptized into Christ. Mark 16:15,16; Romans 6; Acts 8:12
