1Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
The blood is the life of the body and supplies the energy needed to sustain life.
Genesis 9:4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood,
Note how Jesus describes his own resurrected body:
Luke 24:37-39 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Jesus describes his resurrected body as "flesh and bones" because it was no longer dependent upon blood. His was a body empowered by the spirit of God in the same human framework which depended formerly upon blood.
So, you are correct, in the Kingdom we will have bodies but they will be spirit energised and not blood energised. We will still be recognizable. That's why, even in heaven at the right hand of the Father, the Lord is still called, "the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5
