About us

The Mountsorrel Christadelphian group is made up of a small number of Bible believers from the local area. Every Sunday evening we put on informative public lectures about Bible topics. We invite you to attend at 6pm any Sunday. You will find our lectures thought provoking, helping to explain misconceptions about this wonderful book, no matter what your level of interest or prior knowledge.

Here's some answers to questions you might have:

Q: How long do the lectures last?

A: Around 30 to 40 minutes. We're usually done by 7pm.

Q: Who are the speakers? Are they qualified to speak about the Bible?

A: Our speakers are invited from Christadelphian groups all around the UK. They are all non-paid Bible teachers who have studied and taught the Bible for a number of years. Many of our speakers who take on subjects of a scientific nature are also qualified in those disciplines. We have over 40 different speakers in any given year so you will always find a fresh approach.

Q: Will I be asked to contribute to collections?

A: No. All our events are free of charge and there is no collection during the Bible lecture. We have a collection for members only during the Breaking of Bread service which goes towards the upkeep of the building and charitable causes.
