The earliestEnglish language version ofthe entire Bible was translated by John Wycliffe about AD 1384. Parts of the Bible had been translated into Anglo-Saxon andOld English asbetween AD700 - 1000.The first English Bible in print, although not complete, was published by Wiilliam Tyndale in the 1520's.

Regarding the Torah, Christians do consider it part of the Holy Bible. The Torahconsists ofthe first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Indeed, it would be impossible to understand much of the New Testament if these books were not considered to be part of the Christian Bible.
