What does the Holy Bible says about Muhammad ?

Does the Bible validate Muhammad and his message?

Thank you for asking a question on This is your Bible.

There is only one true prophet promised by God through Moses that everyone must listen to.

Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

If we believe Moses the terms ‘of thy brethren’ and ‘from among their brethren’ clearly indicate that prophet would be of Israel.Further that God requires those that hear his words should believe him or be disinherited.

The New Testament writers clearly show this to be Jesus Christ who lay down his life to save his people from their sins. His sacrifice is prophesied in Isaiah 53 and his mode of death in Psalm 22.His ascension to heaven is prophesied in Psalm 110.His return in Zechariah 14:4

Peter says

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Paul says the promised seed of Abraham was Christ.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Christ says of himself:

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Peter says

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The writer to the Hebrews says

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

The overwhelming evidence presented is that Jesus Christ is the prophet promised through Moses and that he fulfilled the scriptures in giving his life to save those who would believe. There is no mention of a further prophet to come other than Elijah who will be sent prior to Christ’s return to save Israel (Malachi 4:5).There is, in truth, no need for another prophet because by the end of the first century the Gospel was complete.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The Doctrine was complete.

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

1 Timothy 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

The short answer to your question is that the Holy Bible says nothing about the prophet Muhammad. The Koran and the Bible teach very different doctrines. Therefore they cannot both be correct. The Bible’s claim to be the word of God is irrefutable. Therefore Muhammad is not a true prophet of God.

I hope this helps.
