How is God creator and redeemer?

Isn't the role of redeemer filled by Christ?

Thanks for asking a question on thisisyourbible.com

God is the creator because he created everything, including man
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God created man with freewill. Adam could choose to obey or disobey. Adam was given one commandment to keep; the penalty for disobedience was death.
Genesis 2:16... the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Adam disobeyed God. He ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and was condemned to death
Genesis 2:17... unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life... 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
The fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil changed Adam’s physiology and this change was passed genetically to his progeny. All Adam’s progeny disobey God. Disobedience to God is called ‘sin’ and the penalty for each and every sin is death.
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
All men sin and all die
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Man cannot save himself; therefore in order to be saved from death he must be redeemed by another. God in his mercy has provided a way of redemption through his son Jesus Christ. God conceived a son in the womb of Mary.
Luke 1:35... the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Jesus was born with our nature subject to all the temptations that we experience. The difference was that he did not sin.
Hebrews 4:15... (he) was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Further he sacrificed his life for all who would believe and obey his gospel.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
To be redeemed we must understand and believe the gospel, repent of our sinful way of life, be baptised by immersion in water into Christ for the remission of all past sins, and live a new life by the commandments of Christ.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
If we do this God will raise us from the dead and give us eternal life in his kingdom which Jesus will establish when he returns to the earth.
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
God is the redeemer because he has provided a way of redemption from sin and death through his son Jesus Christ.
Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
I hope you have found this helpful.
God bless,
Glenn
