What is the difference between theology and the Bible?

Is studying the Bible the same as theology?

Thanks for asking a question on www.thisisyourbible.com

the Bible was written by man and inspired by God:

2 Peter 1 :21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the record of God's dealings with mankind, past, present and future. It is inspired accurate and authoritative.

Theology is the "study of God" often without reference to the Bible and is not inspired, is often inaccurate and has no intrinsic authority.
